This women’s month we are celebrating and profiling the incredible women who lead Mbewu Movement. Not only are they ambitious, talented and hard working, they are passionate about their communities, family orientated and share the belief that women are powerful.

Lilitha Mahlati is a financier and heads up our newly formed investment portfolio. She is a transformation and gender activist at heart and is especially passionate about helping young African women become wealth creators. In fact, on women’s day this year, she was interviewed on eNCA’s MoneyLine show, talking about the experiences of young women in banking and about Mbewu Movement (click here). Her other loves include fashion (check her and Lindelwa out on the Jideka fashion blog), dancing Kizomba, travelling the world and practising her Mandarin.
